How often do you have the opportunity to get your hands on Carignane? How often do you get your hands on OLD VINE Carignane? We thought the same thing when we have the opportunity to purchase fruit from a very old Carignane vineyard located in Northern Sonoma Valley appellation Alexander Valley.
Boy are we happy we jumped on this vineyard! We think you will too.
The wine is beautifully colored deep red with tons of sweet red plum and red raspberry flavors. We also get hints of tart fruit and rich tannins. Not quite rustic, this wine is a rough and tumble that lovers of unique forward wines will appreciate.

This wine is so smooth. It is excellent and was easy to drink multiple glasses. It went well with the tomatoes and mozzarella we had.
