We thought this wine was sold out years ago, but we were thrilled to find quite a pallet, perfectly stored at our warehouse. The vineyard was planted over 85 years ago and this is unfortunately the last vintage as the vines were ripped out after the 2014 harvest. At almost 10 years old, we have now done all the aging for you. This deep, dark purple wine reveals explosive wild berry aromas and a subtle forest floor note. On the palate, it offers dried black cherry and blackberry flavors with balanced acidity, reminiscent of a wine you would find in Italy. It is ideal for pairing with dishes like carbonara or osso bucco, the medium-length finish can only be enhanced when enjoyed with food. GOLD MEDAL WINNER at the Sonoma County Harvest Fair!
