Talk about a crowd-pleaser! This is a soft, sexy, sipping Merlot, with a lovely whack of toasty oak on the finish. Lush ripe plum, hints of brown sugar and maple, with soft creamy tannin. This vineyard in Kenwood is Doug Del Fava's and was planted almost 25 years ago and named after his wonderful daughter, Shannon. There are only 7 barrels of this made, so be sure to snatch this up.
