First things first—this wine? It smells incredible! Usually, this vineyard is on the cooler side, and getting the brix where we want in order to harvest them can be a  little tricky. But, surprise, surprise, this vintage was miraculous! We managed to bring in those grapes at 24.5 brix, just before Halloween. The 2021 heat really did wonders for this smaller harvest. This is a classic cabernet with a lighter-body and well balanced finish. Without the jammy and sweet lingering finish. It's got those gripping tannins that make it age-worthy and food-friendly.
