Across the board, this has rave reviews from all of us and our customers! A high-toned blast of sweet pink grapefruit is on the nose, with great acidity to match. This block of Sauvignon Blanc had an extra month of hang time on the vine, we harvested it at 24 brix to add complexity (typically we harvest this at about 21). We aged this in neutral oak which brought in the lovely creaminess to this wine, without adding toasty aromas. With all that, this wine is still very lean and crisp and SO food-friendly. Jeffrey suggests Petrale Sole with Brussels Sprouts and Dijon Mustard & Caper Cream sauce.
